Nacho Ormaechea’s conceptual artworks are influenced by the impressions of urban landscapes, life, and people. These images are part of a digital collage series of human silhouettes filled with visually contrasting and colorful photographs.

Creativity with Food Series by Hong Yi

Hong Yi aka ‘Red’ a Malaysian artist known as, ‘the artist who loves to paint, but not with a paintbrush’. She also goes by the nickname ‘Red’ because Hong sounds like the word ‘red’ in Mandarin.

In her project ’31 Days of Creativity with Food’ – In March Hong challenged herself to create a new piece of food art for every day of March and share the results on .

There were only two rules:

1. Only food can be used
2. The creations must be placed on a white plate, which serves as the backdrop.

Irving Harper: Works in Paper

is a new book from Skira Rizzoli that collects the paper works of industrial designer Irving Harper. Harper worked as the director of design at George Nelson Associates during the 1960s and is known for designing the Marshmallow Sofa for Herman Miller (as well as the firms’ iconic logo) and the ball and sunburst clocks for Howard Miller. Privately the designer was also an artist and created numerous paper sculptures depicting animals, masks, and other figures.

Tree Spirit Carvings by Keith Jennings

Sculptor Keith Jennings began his Tree Spirits project in 1982 with a tree in his backyard. Later, he was commissioned to sculpt a series of trees on St. Simons Island off the coast of the state of Georgia. He carves faces into trees, revealing the tree's inner spirit.
