Australian artist Freya Jobbins takes her inspiration from artists such as Guiseppe Archimboldo’s and his fruit & veggie paintings, Ron Mueck’s oversized humans, and Gunther Von Hagen’s plastinated corpses. Add to that her interest in the relationship between consumerist fetishism and the emerging recycling culture within the visual arts and the result are her humanoid faces and busts made of pre-used dolls and toys.

Japanese student Chooo-San transforms her limbs and face into surrealist artworks that look like body mutations from a sci-fi movie - though thankfully only using acrylics, meaning it can at least be rubbed off at the end of the day.
Chooo-san keeps a where she shares photgraphs of her work, most of which are slightly disturbing modifications of her own face like adding an extra mouth or several extra eyes.

The true reality of the advertisements of McDonald's Big Mac, Burger King's Whopper, McDonald's Angus Deluxe TP and Taco Bells' Crunchy Taco versus the reality of what you get in the bag. He set out on a small quest to compare the advertising images distributed by fast food providers with the products that are actually served in those notable establishments.
