Tree Spirit Carvings by Keith Jennings

Sculptor Keith Jennings began his Tree Spirits project in 1982 with a tree in his backyard. Later, he was commissioned to sculpt a series of trees on St. Simons Island off the coast of the state of Georgia. He carves faces into trees, revealing the tree's inner spirit.

Wire Bird Sculptures by Cédric Le Borgne

Created by French artist Cédric Le Borgne, these birds were made out of fine wire. Sitting contentedly on the branches of a tree just off Rue de la Fontaine in Geneva, Switzerland, they were created for the 2012 Festival Arbres en Lumière, an outdoor tree light festival.

Wood and Glass Ocean Waves by Mario Ceroli

Italian sculptor Mario Ceroli constructed two giant waves, one out of glass and one out of wood. Mario trained as a sculptor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and apart from his sculpture and installation pieces, often collaborated as a set designer for Italian films.

As part of their "Cookie vs. Creme" campaign, Oreo has asked fans to upload photos to Instagram for a team of artists to then transform into sculptures — using only the cookie or creme components of Oreos.
